The staff were very helpful, great. the pool and pool bar were fabulous. food choice was good. It was always hot when served and they tweaked our orders to perfection. breakfast had so many options. There was too much to choose from.
There was a very slight smell of fungus in the room. It was noticeable upon entering, but it faded shortly after.

the room was quite spacious. it was a fairmont king room smoking. the breakfast buffet included a wide variety of options. the staff were very friendly and helpful, a great service.
The pool closed early. It was at sunset. the gym was not included in my package, this was not clear. the room felt a bit dated, it was very noisy.

The reception staff offered comprehensive details during check-in. The sixth-floor room was very spacious and clean (it was kept in excellent condition!). Bottled water was replenished daily. I found the anti-slip mats that the hotel provided quickly in the wet room shower to be very helpful.
I found the canal beach sunbeds had limited availability. This was especially noticeable during peak hours. I wish there were more for everyone to enjoy the beach comfortably.

The front desk swiftly printed QR codes. Staff provided attentive service at the Italian restaurant. At the poolside bar, Dilshan offered useful advice about the area. These service elements contributed positively to my experience.

i enjoyed the room with wall to wall glass. it had fine views. i spent two nights there. the check in process was simple. the rooms were clean. the fairmont gold team cared about me.
I found that the breakfast buffet was not well-managed. People were pushing and knocking items over, the coffee was cold, and the toaster did not work correctly.

staff was on hand in the restaurant. they created a nice atmosphere. mohammed, at the front entrance, greeted everyone with a smile. he also answered queries.

Sajina and Samitha provided great service. I went for the open sushi night and the food was excellent. Reem upgraded me to a fantastic suite. It featured a great view of the Grand Mosque.
The check-in process took a bit longer than I expected. Next time I will be more prepared.

The outdoor swimming pool had a dedicated lifeguard on duty. There were ample sun loungers surrounding the pool area. Guests had easy access to fresh towels and chilled water.
